B2: Design Thinking

1. Major in CRJU

For this future, I would be a fully pledged police officer. I’ll start this when I’m straight out of college. I would find a place, hopefully close by to my home, and apply for an officer job for protecting the citizens and maintaining peace and order. After I get accepted, I will be financially stable for my entire life. I would still live with my family just because I love them. I may also look for my significant other for ensure myself as a family man. This future would be average in my opinion, but it’s how I would like for it to be if my degree was successful. 5 years into this life, it would be pretty much the same as how it should be. I would have my own family, still doing my job, hanging out with friends on occasion, etc. Obviously, I would take some kind of vacation once or more a year. Although people say that when your education stops, you won’t need to learn anymore. That’s not true. We all can keep learning because we don’t know everything. Therefore, I will keep on learning whatever there is to learn. – Confidence Rating

2. Taking Over an Academy

This is the future if my instructor happens to retire or pass away. Those who are close to him don’t actually know who will be the successor of the academy that he runs. One thing that I know is that I am one of the candidates to do so. If I were to take over this academy, I would have to be financially stable to pay for renovations, rent, equipment, and other supplies to run the place. Running the place on one hand is easy, but on the other hand, it’s not. I need to play rent, maintain the conditions of supplies, and whatever there is to do. This future is actually more lenient in my opinion because it’s not that hard but it has to be correct. Like the last future paragraph, 5 years into this academy won’t be different or that life-changing unless if I had to move to a new location. I would actually like to see if this future can somehow change my lifestyle by being with other people a lot more often. I honestly think that this future would happen when I can around 40 years old, but who knows. – Resources Rating

This last possible future would have to be when I applied to a well-named restaurant and work there as a chef or a cook. This is what I thought I would do when I was younger. If all else fails, I can just work as a cook at a restaurant and earn a living from this. I like food. So, making food would be something that I enjoy doing. Cooking for 5 years would be a difficult job because this kind of job is one where you can’t make a single mistake or your job is on the line to make end’s meet. Everything that I do should be precise and correct without fail. Using my cooking skills can benefit me and my family so that we don’t have to eat out so often. Plus, when I cook, I know what I’m doing, making, and using in my dish. This is rather a peaceful and fun lifestyle. This kind of job can barely have any days off or vacation time unless if I get a substitute to do my job during my absence. Cooking is fun because you’re constantly learning using hands-on experience. – Satisfaction Rating
